1994
The Deans Primary School was opened in September 1994.
The first Head Teacher was Mrs F. Hartley.
Early Years
The school made significant progress, receiving a "most improved school" award in 1999 and Beacon School status in 2000. It also received a Government Achievement Award in 2002
2007
In 2007 the school had an exceptional year and topped the National League tables in SATs.
2009
Mrs P. Frayne became head teacher in September 2009, and the school continued to go from strength to strength.
2014
Mr S. Kirkpatrick became head teacher in September 2014.
2017
In October 2017 the school moved site to a new building to continue to grow and welcome even more students to The Deans family.
2025
The Deans Primary School joined the Kings Academy Trust. Mr D. Nightingale became Headteacher in September 2025.
